NEW DATA FORT SOLUTION WILL INCREASE IT-SERVICE QUALITY AND DECREASE USERS’ WORKSTATION MAINTENANCE COST BY 20-30%

The solution for workstation management (Desktop Management Services) is one of the most demanded on western markets. Thus, according to the estimations made by Gartner, the workstation management service is 15% or about 1.5 milliard dollars of the entire IT-service market in the Western Europe (Forecast: IT Services, Worldwide, 2003-2009).
This solution allows to increase the quality of users support and simultaneously decrease workstation maintenance costs. Its high demand on the Russian market is determined by the fact that IT infrastructures become more complex and less liable to control, since due to the business development IT departments face difficulties controlling extending IT-systems, supporting various technology platforms and a considerable number of users with different work functions and equipment. Difficulties in users’ work, dissatisfaction in IT-service level, decrease in work efficiency come as a consequence of the IT control decrease. Thus, companies face the need for double ensuring, purchasing twice as much equipment and licenses as needed and unreasonably extending support service staff.

Such standardization offers maximum economy. The price of each package is determined by the service set, existence of branches, presented equipment, and the possibility of the remote access. The base package includes:
- service of the Central technical support (solution of users’ calls, PC and IT infrastructure administration, migration, extension, changes and installation of components, configuring PCs and software, consulting to users);
- PC servicing (preventive, warranty, and post-warranty, provided in DATA FORT service center);
- reports on services rendered and compliance degree of the rendered services with the declared level.
- DATA FORT also provides additional services within the base package upon customer’s desire:
- development and coordination of PC and software standards, upon customer’s requirements;
- renting PC and software to customers;
- setup of IT-infrastructure according to customer’s requirements;
- managing customer’s IT-components (management of IT-infrastructure, stock, IT-equipment purchasing process)
- help moving customer’s IT-infrastructure
Service rendering parameters and financial liability of DATA FORT are stipulated in each contract.
