IBS EXTENDS SERVICES RANGE FOR INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES
IBS, the leader in the Russian market of consulting services and information technologies, pursues a new business trend – practice of industrial processes automation.
Establishing the Department for Industrial Automation Systems in April, 2006, was the first step on the way. Mikhail Shnaiderman who had previously been managing LUKOIL's IT Service for 7 years took charge of the department.
The establishment of the independent unit was preceded by a year of proactive preparation for launching the practice, involving market in-depth analysis, search and training of experts. The establishment of the unit is an appropriate step toward expansion of IBS activity in the industrial sector. The Company has extensive experience in cooperating with the industrial sector. Analysis of needs of the Company’s current customers from the industrial sector revealed their high demand for integrated solutions for production control. Streamlining production and improving the quality of production processes management are becoming more and more pressing for industrial enterprises as they get access to ERP systems and consolidate financial flows on their basis.
