February 17, 2010. IBS has won Grand Prix of the annual HR Brand 2009 Award conferred upon Russia's best employers, in the Career Start category. The Grand Prix has been awarded in recognition of the successful work carried out by IBS under the IBS Master’s Degree Programme, the company's strategic initiative to build a system of focused professional training for young professionals.
The HR BRAND is the most authoritative independent award in the local market, which annually acknowledges the best corporate employers and has existed for about 5 years. The Award jury traditionally features the best known and most distinguished HR professionals.
The winner of the prestigious Career Start award was selected by the professional HR Brand Award jury from among all 58 contending projects.
The IBS Master’s Degree project started three years ago. The project seeks to provide training to prepare highly skilled professionals in areas of specialisation that are most needed in the IT market. The Programme is based on Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and MISIS (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys) National University of Science and Technology, which are among Russia's top higher education institutions. Master's degree students receive systemic training in line with the national educational standards and the professional IT industry standards. Young professionals who enrolled on the Programme when it was launched have now completed their studies and are already building successful careers at IBS.
IBS continues to develop its Master's Degree Programme as a strategic resource that is important for the company's successful growth. Ongoing work is underway to review training quality and adapt training programmes, methods and processes to ensure the highest level of professional training in line with the market requirements. Each year the number of students enrolling on the Programme is about twice as high as in the previous year. The Master's Degree Programme is intended to become the main source of new highly skilled professionals for IBS.
