September 29, 2008. IBS IT Services, the member company of IBS Group Holding Limited, and MIR Group, one of the biggest nation-wide retail chains, have completed the project of building an automated tax accounting and differences accounting system on the SAP ERP platform.
IBS IT Services, the leader in the Russian IT services market, has extensive experience of implementing financial and tax accounting projects. IBS IT Services professionals have helped MIR Group to standardise tax accounting and differences accounting methods across all companies within the Group that are income tax payers (38 legal entities). Then tax accounting and differences accounting was set up based on the SAP ERP corporate information system.
The project provided the required transparency of tax accounting data across the geographically distributed business structure of MIR Group while reducing the amount of effort, ruling out errors, speeding up generation of period tax reports and decreasing tax risks.
