DEALINE distributor center, 'a new type of distribution company' is founded. IBS is now a Group of companies which includes IBS the system integrator and Dealine the distribution center.
Work starts on a number of big projects which will be successfully implemented in the future:
developing information infrastructure for Bratsk Aluminum Plant (more than 12,000 people).
automatization of cash circulation in the Moscow Savings Bank. The procedures of cash processing are radically modernized. The first 'electronic cashier' is installed in the Moscow Branch of the Russian Federation Savings Bank.
a commercial bank automatization: IBS Bank multi-functional payment system is installed at InterTAK bank.
New distribution agreements with IBM and Network General are signed.
Establishing a new division - the Software solutions Division.
Beginning of Internet era for IBS: an agreement on cooperation with SOVAM TELECOM, the first Russian Internet provider, is signed on supplying software for getting Internet access via Dell computers.
