2003

January

  IBS signed an agreement with the Vympelkom Company for servicing of Symantec software product package in order to raise the level of its services in the field of information security.
  Another satellite site within the IBS corporate portal was started in December 2002. The new information resource for fuel and power industry tek.ibs.ru provides information on new management methods and technologies, strategic development and main production for the oil and gas and power supply companies.
  According to the 2002 results, IBM awarded a number of companies, which implemented projects on the basis of IBM software platforms. IBS received this IBM award for the greatest contribution to development of portal business solutions on the basis of IBM technologies.
  The DATA FORT Trademark was registered.
  The central Bank of the Russian Federation officially appreciated efficient operation of IBS Company.

February

  IBS, leader of the Russian information technology and consulting market, completed the first stage of the project for implementation of the production process management system for the Central Telegraph Company.
  Microsoft Business Solutions CIS awarded IBS the Gold Partner Status.

March

  IBS announced the completion of development and the start of the promotion of the new IBS Insurance integrated solution to insurance markets. This solution is based on the Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision integrated financial and economic management system and the specialized solution for the insurance management of the Landsteinar Iceland Company, Iceland.
  The DATA FORT Project and the IT Company announced starting provision of commercial services related to the use of the Boss-Kadrovik staff management system in the ASP (Application Service Provision) mode.
  BIPEC AUTO, Kazakh large trade, production and car industry holding company, and IBS, leader of the Russian information technology and consulting market, announced the completion of the BIPEC AUTO Group of Companies management system upgrading project.
  Solution was developed based on the Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision integrated financial and economic management system and the specialized solution for the insurance management of the Landsteinar Iceland Company, Iceland.
  IBS signed three contracts with RAZGULYAI-Ukross Company.
  The planning and accounting system of the AltaiEnergo Company was put into operation.
  Project was completed for unification of the refilling stations and the retail trade network of the LipetskNefteprodukt Company within unified information system on the basis of the IBS TRADE HOUSE Trade Center Automation Solution and an IBS EGO based retail sales monitoring system.

April

  IBS won the first place in the rating of Russia’s largest 50 companies on the basis of the 2002 results (rating of the Kommersant-Dengi Magazine).
  IBS developed a new and unique cluster solution on the basis of Hewlett-Packard Itanium II servers, the HP-UX 11i 1.6 Operating System and the Oracle 9iRAC DBMS. The cluster was demonstrated on March 19, 2003, at the practical seminar of The Days of IBS cycle.
  On April 15, in the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel, the Strategic Cooperation memorandum was signed between Comstar, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard (HP), IBS and Strom Telecom for implementation of the project for creation of a single integrated corporate information network for Comstar, the Russian communication operator.
  The DATA FORT Project of IBS, jointly with Oracle and Sun Microsystems officially announced launching the FORTEST area. The new joint initiative of the companies would allow software debugging and testing in remote access mode.
  IBS completed the project aimed to optimize provision of services for corporate customers in Comstar, one of the leading Russian communication operators.
  IBS started the MBS – Axapta based financial management system implementation project for the Media Arts Group Holding Company, Russia’s leading companies in the marketing communication and advertising markets of Russia.
  IBS completed the project for the Information System Management Center for Lukoil.
  IBS completed automation project for the fourth and largest shop of the TATI Network the trademark of which is presented in Russia by the Lange Company. In the course of the Project, IBS implemented the IBS Trade House System and installed 7 POS terminals IBM 4614F with Metrologic MS9520 ScanWege manual scanners.
  Early in April, IBS signed the first agreement for implementation of IBS Insurance, the new IBS network solution for insurance companies for the Moscow Insurance Company.
  IBS completed the project for the Corporate Knowledge Management System for Lukoil.

May

  Project was completed for creation of a financial planning and online report generation system for the AltaiEnergo Company, subsidiary of the RAO EES Russia Company.
  IBS concluded contract for implementation of the Axapta ERP System at the Ostankino Milk Factory.
  On May 15, IBS started implementation of the project for automation of the hypothecation workflow for the Delta Credit Bank.
  On May 30, IBS won 2 independent tenders of British American Tobacco for provision of outsourcing services to the Service and Support department.
  DATA FORT completed implementation of a corporate mailing system and a corporate data transfer point for the Moscow Office of the United Machine Building Plants Company.
  In 2003, at a scheduled meeting of the SAP AG partners, IBS received a certificate to confirm the greatest number of consultants among all of the Russian partners. The cooperation director of SAP for the CIS and the Baltic States, Dr. Wolfgang Petzold, noted the dynamic growth of the SAP services practice application by IBS expressed both in an increase in the number of certified consultants and in the aspect of professional skills of the IBS personnel. In 2003, IBS plans further expanding its practices, including increasing the number of new projects.
  IBS implemented the IBS Trade House System and installed 7 POS terminals IBM 4614F with Metrologic MS9520 ScanWege manual scanners in the TATI Trade Network.

June

  IBS, leader of the Russian information technology and consulting market, started implementation of the project for automation of the individual crediting workflow for the Delta Credit Bank, leader of the Russian hypothecation market.
  The DATA FORT data Processing Center of IBS and the Russia and CIS Microsoft Office announced the start of the Microsoft Project Server 2002 demo version operation.
  IBS implemented AXAPTA at the Ostankino Milk Factory.
  IBS concluded a partnership agreement with the Cognos Company. According to Gartner, Cognos is the world’s leader in the Corporate Performance Management market (integrated systems for corporate reporting, budgeting and planning and KPI/BSC management systems).
  IBS signed agreement with the Russian Chocolate Company for implementation of MBS Navision.
  According to the results of the National Rating All for Trade in the 21st Century, IBS won the Golden Balance Prize in three nominations: for the Best Distributed Shop Network Integrated Automation System, the Unique non Food Project and the Refilling Station Shop Automation.

July

  IBS completed the project for the analysis of financial functions in the largest drugstore network 36.6 Pharmacies.
  On July 9, 2003, IBS and Cognos, the world’s leader in development of data analysis systems, signed a partnership agreement. According to the Agreement IBS was entitled to distribute all the main Cognos products and provide the full range of services in development, implementation, technical support and training of Cognos software products in 12 former Soviet Union States.
  IBS received the official Nortel Solutions Partner Status within the new partnership program announced by the Moscow Nortel Networks Office in April 2003.
  DATA FORT won the tender for the deployment of the main information systems of the Rosgosstrakh Insurance Company at the DATA FORT Data Processing center.
  IBS completed implementation of the IBS Trade House Product Circulation Management System at the Novaya Zarya supermarket in Sochi.
  IBS won the tender for implementation of a formerly unparalleled project for the automation of the financial accounting of all the insurance companies within the Rosgosstrakh Holding Company.
  IBS signed agreement for implementation of Axapta at the Pronto-Moscow Publishing Holding Company.

August

  IBS won the tender for implementation of the Lukoil Analytical Management System.

September

  IBS received again the Microsoft Business Solutions Gold Partner Status confirmed by a number of successful implementations and the Company’s contribution to the expansion of the Microsoft Business Solutions market share, skills and number of certified consultants.
  On September 8, 2003, IBS and the Gloria Keans Corporation announced the completion of the second stage of the project for implementation of a Microsoft Business Solutions – Axapta Platform based management system.
  On September 10, 2003, IBS announced the certification of its specialists for Cognos software products.
  IBS, leader of the Russian information technology and consulting market, announced opening a new office and plans of its activity in the Volga Federal Region.
  Rosgosstrakh and the DATA FORT Project of IBS announced signing an agreement for outsourcing of the corporate information system in the insurance company.
  IBS continued on implementing the Navision ERP System in the Premier League Trade Network.
  Our colleagues completed an integrated project for implementation of the Yamal Resources data bank building infrastructure in the town of Salekhard, including the design and creation of a structured cable system and an guaranteed uninterrupted power supply and telephony system.
  IBS won the tender for creation of a single information medium for the Russian and Byelorussian customs systems.
  IBS was declared as the best Russian partner of Symantec in the Enterprise Solution Partner Category based on the last financial year results.
  On September 23, 2003, the Alpari Dealing Center Company and the DATA FORT Project of IBS announced the deployment of the server section of the MetaTrader:Alpari information and trade center in the DATA FORT data processing Center.

October

  IBS was declared as the best Russian partner of Symantec in the Enterprise Solution Partner Category based on the recent financial results.
  IBS opened an office in Nizhny Novgorod. Thus, the list of the Company’s worldwide presence (Seattle, New York, Kiev etc.) was added with Nizhny Novgorod.
  On October 14, 2003, IBS announced signing of a corporate licensing agreement between IBS, Microsoft and the MDM Bank on the cooperation in corporate software licensing for the next three years.
  IBS won the tender held by the World Bank and the Government of the Russian Federation for the Registration and Cadastre Project. The World Bank projects in the Russian Federation related to implementation of the Land Reform are managed by the World Bank’s specially established division, the Laris Center (the Land Reform Implementation Support (Laris) Project).
  IBS participated in the specialized annual Car Exhibition.
  IBS won the tender for creation of structured telecommunication and information cable networks and fiber optical communication channels for the Higher School of Economics, Russia.
  IBS won the tender for creation of a single information medium for the Russian and Byelorussian customs systems.
  IBS and Voronezhsvyazinform, regional communication operator of the Centertelecom Group within the Svyazinvest Holding Company, announced the start of operation of a regional multiservice data network.
  IBS concluded agreement with the Kostroma Hydroelectric Power Plant for the upgrading of the Plant LANs. The agreement resulted from IBS winning the closed tender in which numerous Russian IT companies participated,

November

  IBS completed the project for the installation of a Corporate Dictionary and Reference System for Lukoil.
  IBS and the SEB Vostok Group announced the successful completion of the project for implementation and further support of the SAP R/3 product based company management system.
