January

  DATA FORT started implementing the project for provision of remote access services and support of Navision Attain ERP system. DATA FORT services are leased according to Application Service Provision (ASP).
  IBS started implementing the project for the Navision Attain integrated enterprise management system in Deloitte and Touche offices within the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu worldwide network, one of the world’s leading companies and a member of the Great Five in the field of professional accounting and consulting services.
  IBS completed the project for increasing of the operation efficiency of the B-Laser home appliance manufacturing and distributing company.
  Rainbow Technologies and IBS entered into a partnership agreement. This agreement is the basis for expansion of the companies’ cooperation in implementation of integrated information security projects. As many independent IDC experts noted, Rainbow Technologies Company is a leading supplier of solutions in Internet and eCommerce security.
  IBS participated in the seminar and conference held by Svyazinvest Company called Corporate Management System for the Svyazinvest Enterprises: Principles of Selection and Implementation.
  Infotecs and IBS entered into a cooperation agreement in the field of information security technologies. The companies joined their effort in development of integrated information protection solutions and the joint promotion of these solutions in the market.
  IBS received a Federal Security Service license for works related to the state secret information.
  IBS started using the Russian certified cryptographic tools for information protection within the Entrust/PKI software intended for implementation of an open key infrastructure in corporate information security systems.

February

  On February 12, in the course of the DATA FORT Project, IBS held a press conference and, jointly with Oracle, presented the marketing program under the motto: Oracle DBMS – simple and cheap!
  Alexo Advertising Company entered into an agreement with DATA FORT for leasing of the ASP based Support Wizard System. The solution is operated in remote access provided by Russia’s only ASP provider of hi-tech systems, the DATA FORT Project. This is the second “complex” contract concluded by DATA FORT since the beginning of 2002.
  IBS participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference called Financial Monitoring and New Information Technologies held February 12 through 16 in Suzdal. The Conference was held by large State entities of the Russian Federation and largest IT companies.
  IBS received a Federal Security Service license for works related to state secret information.
  IBS started using the Russian certified cryptographic tools for information protection in the Entrust/PKI software intended for implementation of an open key infrastructure in corporate information security systems. As a result, the Russian companies will be able to use IBS solutions for creation of an open key infrastructure with the use of Entrust Technologies software products.

March

  IBS and the Moscow Microsoft Office announced starting joint promotion, in the Russian market, of a comprehensive integrated medium price range solution for development of the enterprise management system.
  IBS and Intel, the world’s leading microprocessor manufacturer, announced opening the Competence Center at IBS for promotion of corporate Intel® platform solutions (including ERP, CRM and information security systems, Internet technology based solutions etc.).
  IBS participated in the 2nd Conference called Intellectual Buildings: Automation and Control of the Building Management Systems.
  IBS signed a new agreement with the TNK Company within the project for development of the concept of an automatic process control system for oil and gas companies of Nizhnevartovsk region. According to the Agreement, IBS specialists will start the second stage of the project, i.e. the draft design of the automatic process control system.
  IBS signed an agreement on implementation of the IBS’ developed product called Register for the RF Ministry of Transportation.
  DATA FORT finished testing and transferred the technological resources to the industrial site for deployment and support of another web resource of the Moscow Megafon Network-www.gsmlight.ru.
  IBS and the Robertson & Blums Corporation, a leading supplier of business management solutions and an official business partner of Adaytum Software in Russia, CIS and the Baltic States, signed a Partnership memorandum. The partnership implies cooperation of the companies in Adaytum e.Planning based development of financial and economic planning and budgeting systems for Russian large and medium companies.

April

  On April 11, the first seminar of the cycle of events called the IBS Days was held. The seminar was held by the DATA FORT Project and addressed the topic ASP Business Model or How to Optimize IT Budget by Leasing Applications.
  IBS won the first place in the Kommersant-Dengi Magazine rating of the consulting companies based on 2001 results (No. 12, April 3, 2002).
  On April 18, in the Conference Hall of the Interfax Information Agency, IBS, jointly with the Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Businessmen (and Employers) and the Netherlands Economic Institute, held a press conference concerning the start of the project for analysis of the business activity and competitiveness of Russian companies. The analysis was carried out by the IBS and ECORYS Holding BV Companies, which unite a multipurpose group of Western European consulting companies, with the support from the Russian Chamber of Commerce and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Businessmen (and Employers).
  IBS completed the project for implementation of the Navision Attain System at the USA-Russia Investment Fund (Delta-Capital).
  On April 16, in the Marriott Aurora Hotel, IBS, jointly with the Navision CIS Company, held a seminar called Transfer to Navision ERP Systems: New Possibilities.
  IBS completed the automation project for the Lukoil’s refilling station at the 1st km of the Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway (Moscow Governmental route).
  On April 24, a scheduled practical seminar of The Days of IBS cycle was held. The second seminar was devoted to the Management of Company IT Infrastructure issue and held by the System Solutions Department jointly with the Corporate Marketing Service. The seminar was attended by IT directors of large telecommunication, power industry, retail trade, distributing, transportation, manufacturing and service companies.
  IBS participated in the 14th International Telecommunication Exhibition Svyaz-Expocom-2002.
  IBS won the tender for the turn-key development of a data transfer radio network at the Fedorovskneft Company.

May

  IBS continued the cycle of The Days of IBS practical seminars for the most urgent issues of information technology applications in business practices for different industries and ownership types. The scheduled seminar entitled Corporate Applications Integrated: Basis for the Unified Information Medium of a Company was held on May 15.
  On May 23, IBS started its corporate staff examination program that involved all the Company’s staff.
  On May 20-24 IBS held a seminar on project risk management in its Office Conference Hall. This was a training program provided by the well-known consultant Mark Newell, member of the Project Management Institute. This seminar was held by the PSM Consulting Company.
  IBS completed implementation of the financial and economic planning system at the Samara Telecom Company
  On May 28, the conference entitled Navision: a New Management Philosophy – from Technologies to Success was held at which IBS participated jointly with DATA FORT. The company made a report, participated in the exhibition and arrangement of the Internet cafe and served as the Golden Sponsor. The conference was held by Navision CIS with assistance from the Kommersant Publishing House and IDC.
  IBS and Symantec opened a Symantec user support center in Russia.
  On May 28 through 31, IBS participated in the exhibition and conference called IT in Regional Social and Economic Management held by the Committee for Informatization of Khanty-Mansiisk region.

June

  On June 5, a DATA FORT Project conference was held at which our colleagues presented the results of their work from the commercial startup of the Project and corporate outsourcing as a new service.
  On June 6, a scheduled seminar of The Days of IBS cycle was held entitled Integrated Security for Company Information Resources, at which reports of DSR and DATA FORT Project specialists were presented. The seminar was attended by specialists in information security management and financial directors of largest Russian companies.
  On June 11, a friendly and business meeting of IBS and managers of the Russian Microsoft Office was held in the IBS Office conference hall. At the meeting, a joint business plan of the two companies was signed.
  On June 13, a joint press conference of the IBS and TNK Companies was held where results were presented related to creation of an automatic process control system for booster pump stations of the Permyakovsky and Koshilsky deposits belonging to the Nizhnevartovsk Oil and Gas Extracting Company within the TNK.
  At the press conference, Sergei Matsotsky and Vladimir Lvov, director of the TNK Informatization and Communication Department, addressed with the report.
  Anatoly Karachinsky was the first and the only Russian businessman included into the European Stars list published by Business Week International. European Stars is the list of “fifty leaders of positive changes in Europe”. These people are annually selected businessmen, managers, public persons, officials and financiers who significantly contributed to development of economics, business, politics and public life of their countries.
  IBS, jointly with the Regiongazinform Company, completed a scheduled stage of the project for development of an automatic information system for regional gas selling companies affiliated in the Mezhregiongaz Company.
  On June 19 through 21, IBS participated in the Second International Exhibition Forum The World of Trade in the Moscow Gostiny Dvor Trade Center at which it presented the exhibition visitors with a wide range of trade business management solutions.
  IBS announced the completion of the first stage of the project for creation of an electronic trade area tools for the Architecture, Construction, Development and Modernization Center of the Moscow Government.
  IBS won the tender for creation of the information center to support strategic management decision making for the President of the Sakha Republic (Yakutiya).
  IBS signed a new partnership agreement with Microsoft Business Solutions (formerly Navision CIS). The new agreement allowed IBS to provide services related to implementation and sales of the Microsoft Navision Axapta ERP System. The agreement also prolonged IBS’ right to provide services related to licensing and implementation of the Microsoft Navision Attain System.
  IBS, leader of the Russian information technology and consulting market, completed the first stage of the project for optimization of business processes related to provision of services for the Peterstar Telecommunication Company.
  IBS concluded a consulting agreement with the Comstar Company, one of Moscow largest alternative communication providers.
  IBS completed the project for implementation of the Navision Attain Integrated Enterprise Management System for Deloitte and Touche CIS.

July

  IBS completed the project for creation of a Regional Multiservice Data BNetwork at the Voronezhsvyazinform Company.
  IBS signed a new partnership agreement with Microsoft Business Solutions (formerly Navision CIS). The new agreement allowed IBS to provide services related to implementation and sales of the Microsoft Navision Axapta ERP System. The agreement also prolonged IBS’ right to provide services related to the licensing and implementation of the Microsoft Navision Attain System.
  IBS started implementation of the Microsoft Navision Attain System at the Moscow Real Estate Investment Agency (MIAN).
  IBS completed the project for the Progress Garant Insurance Company.
  IBS completed the project for implementation of the Navision Attain Integrated Enterprise Management System for Deloitte and Touche CIS Offices.
  IBS started the automation of the Mir Uvlechenii Retail Trade Network that specializes in the sales of seed, young plants and garden inventory.
  IBS became one of the first Russian companies to receive the Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) Status. From that time, according to Microsoft’s new strategy, conclusion of licensing agreements for Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subscription software is only possible through Microsoft partners having the Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) Status.
  IBS passed a new advanced Cisco Systems certification test for IP telephony. The certificates were received by the Company within the new Cisco partnership program that implies mandatory certification of all the partners in the specific IT fields. At present, IBS already has the Cisco Gold Partner Status.

August

  IBS signed an Intranet portal creation agreement with the RF Central Bank.
  IBS participated as a sponsor and contributor in the Moscow Information Resources’2000 Annual Seminar.
  IBS entered into the consortium of leading Russian information and software companies, which won the open tender of the Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation for creation of a special Governmental Portal information system in Internet. IBS should have provided both general management of the Project as a General Contractor and startup and information/analytical works.

September

  IBS received the Premier Gold Status for HP OpenView solutions.
  IBS won the tender for creation of the Governmental Portal.
  DATA FORT, service provider in the field of high level systems and infrastructure IT outsourcing for large commercial solutions, and the Matisse Travel Technologies center completed the transfer of the www.matisse.ru system to the industrial operation area of the DATA FORT data center.
  IBS, leader of the Russian information technology and consulting market, received the Premier Gold Status for HP OpenView solutions. The new partnership level was entailed by successful cooperation between the IBS and Hewlett Packard Companies in corporate information system management (until then, the company had had the HP OpenView Premier Silver Status).
  IBS announced starting of its new Budgeting.ibs.ru information resource within development of the IBS Corporate Portal that unifies a series of satellite sites for the main trends of the Company’s activity.
  IBS and Citrix Systems, worldwide leader in the virtual workplace market, signed a partnership agreement.

October

  IBS received the Oracle Competence Center Status for the Directions Creation of the Oracle9iAS Portal Based Company Information Portal and Mobile User Service Provision (Oracle9iAS Wireless).
  IBS started pilot implementation of the corporate finance management system based on the Microsoft Business Solutions Navision (Attain) Platform for the Konfi factory, Yekaterinburg, which is member of the Slad&Co Confectionery Holding Company.
  DATA FORT and the Microsoft Corporation held a press briefing on the start of the joint marketing program for Leasing and Hosting of Microsoft Products.
  DATA FORT Project and the Ward Howell International, leader of the Russian managerial staff search and selection and staff consulting market, concluded an agreement on the placement of the Executive.ru Internet information system in the Project Data Center.
  IBS developed a new integrated solution for optimization of customer relationships procedures. The solution is an integration of the Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks Call Centers and the Siebel CRM System.
  IBS started implementation of a corporate management system on the basis of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision (Attain) for the Russian Office of the Nicomed Pharma Company.
  IBS started implementation of a specialized solution on the basis of the Microsoft Business Solutions Navision Platform for the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
  IBS won the open tender for development and implementation of the videoconferencing and intercom system for the central Office and 87 Regional Offices of the Ministry for Taxation.

November

  IBS announced the start of the Program Project Management: for Customer’s Specialists. The goal of the Program was to minimize the risk of project failure and to enhance and simplify implementation of information systems on the basis of the Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision and Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta platforms.
  The Spar supermarket network in Nizhny Novgorod implemented the IBS Trade House v.11 Product Circulation Management System aimed at efficient management of supermarket networks and warehouses from the central Office. Within that Project, the IBS Trade House System was integrated with the MTX/Grandmaster System for the control of NCR cash register terminals.

December

  IBS started implementation of a Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision Platform based solution for the Nizhny Novgorod Mobile Communication Network, a leading mobile communication operator.
  IBS successfully completed the second stage of the automatic financial planning (budgeting) and control system implementation project for Kievstar GSM, leader of the Ukrainian national mobile communication market.
